Blain Banner, 60, lifelong resident of Littlefield, passed a way Wednesday, March 16, 2022. He was born November 15, 1961 in Littlefield to Daniel "Babe" Bmmer and Jean (Oliver) Banner.

Blain attended Littlefield High School and was a member of the class of 1980. He was a talented natural athlete in school, and beyond. He married Leah Tiller November 20, 2009 in Littlefield. He was an avid motorcross rider and loved motorcycles, especially his Harley Davidson. Blain was a gun enthusiast and a certified gunsmith. He was a patriot and a proud supporter of our troops. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and woodworking. He was a jack of all trades and could repair anything. Blain was educated and informed about almost anything, and if he didn' t know an answer he would research it until he did. He enjoyed going to estate sales and loved antiques. Blain was a patient man, who loved his family more than anything. Known as the 'fun WlCie' and "Peepaw", Blain could never seem to say no to his niece or his grands. He loved picking up his grandchildren from school and always had a car full of snacks ready for them when they got in the car. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the New Horizon Emmaus Community.

He is survived by his wife, Leah Banner of Littlefield; his mom, Jean Banner of Littlefield; son, Garry Ozbim and wife, .Jenna of Littlefield; daughter, Melinda Galan and husband, Jonathan of Littlefield; grandchildren, Olivia, Nevaeh, Mackenzie, Aydin and Jonathan Jr. ; a brother, Brad Batmer of Merkel, Texas; and niece, Barbara Jean Banner of Dallas, Texas.

Memorial services will be at 11 :00 a.m., Thursday, March 24, 2022 at Grace Chapel in Littlefield with Pastor Tracy Spencer officiating. Arrangements are tmder the personal care of Hillcrest Funeral Home in Littlefield. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Jamie Grey, Troy Tubbs, Alan Smith, Gary Woodward and Wayne Lucas.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to Littlefield EMS (PO Box 1267, Littlefield TX 79339).
