Jane Ann Byers, 78 of Littlefield, Texas passed away Saturday, afternoon September 24, 2022 in her home with her daughter's, Kimberly and Melanie, at her side after spending several weeks resting at home and being visited by family and friends.

Her Life will be celebrated by her family and friends at a service in the First Baptist Church on Friday, September 30, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Tanner Wilson officiating. Family and friends are welcome to attend closed casket visitation at Hillcrest Funeral Home on Thursday, September 29, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Family can be contacted at the Byers family home in Littlefield. Jane Ann will be laid to rest beside her husband Clinton in Littlefield Memorial Park Cemetery.

Jane Ann was the youngest daughter of Hurchel and Alma Tapley and grew up working alongside her sister, Gladys, in the Dairy Queen in Littlefield. Jane Ann was a talented painter and floral arranger and throughout her life worked alongside her husband at Byers Grain and Feed as well as running "The Attic", a small local shop known for making homecoming mums and selling floral arrangements as well as anything else that caught Jane's eye. Jane Ann was a member of First Baptist Church in Littlefield and raised her children in the Church. Jane and her family spent their summers on Lake Brownwood fishing, swimming and building strong family bonds. Jane and Clinton taught most of their extended family to water ski on Lake Brownwood. Jane Ann never met a stranger and served her Church and her family as the very essence of what a Christian mom should be.

Jane Ann was preceded in death by her life-long friend and husband, Clinton Byers.

She is survived by their four children, Bradley Byers of Panhandle, Kimberly Crowley of Amarillo, Melanie Blevins of Amarillo and Rodney Byers of Bridgeport. As Jane Ann joins her beloved Clinton in Heaven she leaves behind eight grandchildren, Ashley and Daniel Byers, Katie and Cassie Crowley, Garrett Turner and Lindsey Richardson and Christian and Mason Byers as well as three great-grandsons, Damien and Mathew Blevins and Ben Richardson.

Jane Ann is remembered in the hearts and minds of her family and friends as a mighty prayer warrior and a mom to everyone she knew.
