Octavio Paul Lopez arrested Thurs. morning in Littlefield

On April 18, 2024, the Littlefield Police Department, Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office SWAT Team, and the Texas Anti-Gang Center executed three felony arrest warrants on Octavio Paul Lopez of Littlefield, Texas.

Shortly after 10 a.m., Lubbock County SWAT was able to take Mr. Lopez into custody at his residence. Mr. Lopez was transported to the Lamb County Jail where he was booked in for the following charges: Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, a second Degree felony; Assault against a Family Member Impeding Breath or Circulation, a Third Degree felony; and Assault against a Family Member with a Previous Conviction, a Third Degree felony.

After Mr. Lopez was taken into custody, a search warrant was executed on Mr. Lopez’s residence. The search resulted in the collection of evidence related to his pending charges, as well as two firearms and evidence of Manufacture or Delivery of a Controlled Substance.

The Littlefield Police Department will be pursuing an additional charge of Manufacture or Delivery of a Controlled Substance in Panlty Group 1, 4-200 grams, a First Degree felony.
