The Littlefield FFA Chapter held their annual banquet at the Lamb County Ag Center on Tuesday, May 3, 2023. FFA Members and guests were served a meal catered by Danny’s Fins and Hens of Lubbock, Texas.
Kamryn Meiwes, President of the Littlefield Chapter welcomed guests after which Omar Martinez, Chapter Chaplain offered the invocation.

Greenhand Degrees (1st Year HS Ag Students) were presented to Trent Tisdale, Micah Keeney, Daniel Cortez, Tayte Miller, Jordon Wright, Levi Rowe, Nyke Wooley, Kealee Bussey, Hector Cortez, Makinzi Tyler, Miguel Terrazas, Ryan Lemer, Lauren Turpen, Ty Carr, Jayden Kirkland, Vince Villenueva, and Jayden Rico. The Star Greenhand was Lauren Turpen.
Chapter Degree(2nd Year in HS Ag Classes) were presented to Caesar Martinez, Marysa Saenz, Ivan Martinez, Diego Ramirez, Jerimiah Estrada, Devyn Crouch, Ethyn Hopper, Baldo Silvas, Caiden Meiwes, Teagan Miller, Angel Salazar, Bradyn Redman, and Ethan Beaversdorf. The Star Chapter degree was Devyn Crouch.
Lone Star Degree Recipients
were Kamryn Meiwes, Brendon Bowman, Caytlin Black and Sam Hill.
Honorary FFA Degrees were presented to Brent Green and Tysha Miller.
The new officers for the 20232024 are: Sam Hill- Student Advisor, Teagan Miller- Chaplain, Caesar Martinez- Sentinel, Lauren Turpen- Treasurer, Devyn Crouch- Reporter, Brendon Bowman- Secretary, Caytlin Black-Vice President, and Kamryn Meiwes- President.
Retiring Seniors Lily Laredo and Zeke Saenz were recognized, and officially retired their FFA jackets.
President Kamryn Meiwes then acknowledged Keith Meiwes and Gini Black for donating decorations for the event. After which, she declared the meeting adjourned and called all present to stand and recite the Pledge of Allegiance to officially bring the event to a close.
