Earth, Texas, celebrated their 100th Anniversary on Saturday with a parade and celebration, followed by a Street Dance. (Photos by Ann Reagan) CROP DUSTER COLLISION - One person is dead after two crop-dusters collided in flight Friday morning in Cochran County. Sheriff Jorge De la Cruz says the planes were spraying a cotton field. The crash also left one person with moderate injuries. The person killed in the crash has been identified as Philip Kitten, of Lubbock, and the person injured was identified as Jeremy Williams, of Littlefield. Officials say the caller reported the accident had occurred approximately four miles west of Whiteface. Morton FD, Whiteface FD, Texas DPS and Cochran County EMS responded to the crash. Sheriff De la Cruz says the FAA was contacted and responded to the scene. NTSB was also contacted and will continue the investigation into the crash.
